Purpose
This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected of all Applique personnel and anyone acting on behalf of the firm. It is grounded in our values: integrity, discretion, accountability, and craftsmanship.
Acting with Integrity
- Comply with applicable law and regulation, and with Applique's internal policies
- Act honestly and fairly with clients, colleagues, counterparties, and authorities
- Avoid actual, potential, and perceived conflicts of interest, or disclose and manage them appropriately
- Refuse bribery, corruption, and improper inducements in any form
Protecting Information
- Treat client and firm information as strictly confidential
- Use information only for legitimate business purposes
- Respect personal data and information-security requirements
- Never trade on or improperly disclose inside information
Respect in the Workplace
- Treat colleagues and counterparties with respect and professionalism
- Maintain an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying
- Speak up when something does not look right
Speaking Up
Concerns about conduct that may breach this Code, the law, or Applique's policies should be raised promptly with management, compliance, or through the whistleblowing channel. Applique prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
Consequences
Breaches of this Code may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of engagement, and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.
