Applique complies with all applicable economic and trade sanctions, embargoes, and export-control measures, including those administered by the European Union, the United Nations, the United Kingdom, the United States (OFAC), and the Swedish authorities.
Screening
Prospective and existing clients, beneficial owners, counterparties, and key service providers are screened against applicable sanctions lists at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
Prohibited Engagements
Applique does not knowingly enter into or maintain business relationships with persons, entities, or jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions, or where engagement would breach applicable sanctions regimes.
Escalation
Potential matches, complex ownership structures, and ambiguous cases are escalated to compliance for review and, where required, formal authorisation or reporting.
