Whistleblowing Policy

Confidential channels for reporting misconduct, aligned with the EU Whistleblower Directive.

Purpose

Applique is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity. This policy establishes confidential channels through which personnel, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders may report concerns about suspected misconduct, in line with the EU Whistleblower Directive (2019/1937) and Swedish implementing legislation.

What Can Be Reported

Reportable concerns include, but are not limited to:

  • Breaches of law or regulation
  • Financial crime, fraud, bribery, or corruption
  • Conflicts of interest or misuse of confidential information
  • Breaches of data protection or information security
  • Threats to health, safety, or the environment
  • Retaliation against a person who has reported a concern

How to Report

Concerns may be raised in writing to whistleblowing@applique.se. Reports may be submitted confidentially and, where permitted by law, anonymously. External reporting channels established by competent national authorities remain available at all times.

Confidentiality & Protection

The identity of the reporting person and any third party mentioned in the report is protected to the fullest extent permitted by law. Retaliation in any form against a person who reports a concern in good faith is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter.

Handling of Reports

Reports are acknowledged within seven days. A designated and impartial person assesses the report, conducts any necessary investigation, and provides feedback to the reporting person within three months, in line with the EU Whistleblower Directive.
